Answers to what we get asked most. If yours isn’t here, call (912) 551-6725 — the office is open Monday to Friday, 9 to 5.
How do I rent a storage unit?
If a size shows Rent Now, you can do the whole thing online: pick your size, sign the rental agreement and make your first payment. We’ll then send your access details and move-in instructions.
What do I need to rent?
Your full name, phone number and email address, a government-issued photo ID, an emergency contact, and a debit or credit card for automatic payments.
Do I need to sign a lease?
Yes. Every tenant signs a rental agreement before moving in. You can sign it online as part of the rental.
Is there a minimum rental period?
No. Every unit is month-to-month, so you can stay for one month or several years.
Can I reserve a unit instead of renting it now?
Sizes showing Rent Now can also be reserved free of charge. If the size you want is full, join the waiting list instead.
Is there a deposit or a set-up fee?
There is no security deposit. There is a one-time $20 Administration Fee charged at move-in.
What if the size I need isn’t available?
Join the waiting list for that size. It takes under a minute, and we only ask for your name, phone number and email.
Is there a fee to join the waiting list?
No. Joining costs nothing, needs no card, and puts you under no obligation.
How will I know when a unit opens?
We work the waiting list by hand from the office and contact you using the details you gave us — by phone, text or email.
How long is the wait?
It depends on the size you need and on when a tenant moves out. We’d rather tell you where you actually stand when we call than guess a date now.
Can I rent a different size while I wait?
Often the quickest way in. If a size showing Rent Now would fit your things, that unit is available today. Call us if you’re not sure what fits.
Is automatic payment required?
Yes. All tenants are enrolled in automatic monthly payments with a valid debit or credit card.
Can I pay manually each month instead?
No. Every rental is set up on automatic payment.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major debit and credit cards.
When is my rent due?
Your due date is set when you move in. It appears on every invoice and in your tenant portal.
Is there an administration fee?
Yes — a one-time $20 Administration Fee at move-in.
What happens if my payment fails?
We’ll let you know so you can update your card. A $20 late fee applies if rent remains unpaid past the grace period set out in your rental agreement.
Can I update my card?
Yes. You can update your payment details yourself in the tenant portal, or call the office and we’ll help.
When can I move in?
As soon as your agreement is signed and your first payment goes through, we’ll send your access details and move-in instructions. If you complete a rental outside office hours, we’ll get those to you the next business morning.
Do I need my own lock?
Yes. Tenants provide their own lock, so you are the only person holding a key.
Can someone else access my unit?
Only people you have listed on your account.
How do I move out?
Please give at least 15 days’ notice before your planned move-out date. You can schedule a move-out yourself in the tenant portal, or call the office. Then empty the unit, sweep it out, and take your lock with you.
Is the unit inspected afterwards?
Yes. We check every unit after move-out to make sure it has been emptied and left in good order.
Are cleaning fees charged?
Only if a unit needs extra cleaning, or trash or debris removed.
What if I leave something behind?
Anything left in the unit after move-out is handled according to the terms of your rental agreement.
What are your access hours?
Your gate access hours are set out in your rental agreement. The office itself is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 — call (912) 551-6725 if you need to check before you rent.
Is the facility secure?
The property has digital video surveillance and on-site security. You supply your own lock, so only you hold a key to your unit.
Are these drive-up units?
Yes. Every unit is ground level with drive-up access, so you can pull a vehicle right to your door — no stairs, no elevator, no carts.
Where are you?
110 N Williams St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539.
What can I store?
Most household and business belongings permitted under your rental agreement — furniture, appliances, tools, lawn equipment, seasonal gear and business stock.
What isn’t allowed?
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, explosives, anything illegal, perishable food, and live animals. Nothing edible, ever — it attracts exactly what you’d expect.
Are your units climate controlled?
Our units are ground-level drive-up units. If climate control matters for what you’re storing — photographs, paper records, electronics, instruments or artwork — call us before you rent and we’ll tell you straight what these units will and won’t do.
Any advice on packing?
Keep everything a few inches off the concrete on pallets or timber, use sealed plastic totes rather than cardboard boxes, and cover furniture and mattresses with cloth sheets or moving blankets.
Should I insure my belongings?
Yes. You remain responsible for your own stored property, so we recommend keeping it insured. Tenant Protection plans are available here — ask at the office and we’ll explain the options.
